The Medical Coordinator – Claim Processing is responsible for verifying and processing insurance claims, ensuring accurate capture of medical information, and facilitating communication between insurance companies, healthcare professionals, and patients. This role ensures timely reimbursement and proper handling of patients’ insurance needs.

• Review and process medical insurance claims accurately
• Ensure compliance with insurance policies and healthcare regulations
• Work with healthcare providers for required medical documentation
• Enter claim details into the system and maintain records
• Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients
• Review denied claims and initiate appeals if required
• Collaborate with medical coding and billing teams
• Generate reports and recommend process improvements

• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and insurance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in claim processing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with claim processing software (Epic, Cerner, etc.) – optional for freshers
